Precision Print opened its doors in 1989 in the basement of the Cashway Building Centre (now Rona) on Angelsea St. in Goderich Ontario. The company moved to larger quarters in 1998 at 75 Hamilton St. and again in 2008 to its present location at 36 Newgate St. In conjunction with the last move, we introduced a new logo and colour scheme to the business and added an enhanced reception area for the comfort of our customers.
However, more important than the bright and colourful entry, is the friendly "Hello" and warm smile that greets each customer. We try to treat everyone as family by delivering only the best level of service from initial consultation, to design, through to the finished product.
No job is too small. We approach the individual customer needing a single photocopy in the same way we greet a large business ordering a full set of corporate identity materials. We strive to create each project within reasonable timeframes but work toward meeting your deadline whether it is a rush job or something farther in the future.
Our name includes the word "Precision" not by chance but by design. Every day we do our best to produce the most accurate products possible. Often we will re-do a job rather than let something less than what we are capable of achieving leave the shop.
Throughout the years, and during each of the company's moves, additional equipment has been added or upgraded to keep pace with the many technological advances that have occurred. In 2010, a Xerox Docucolour Digital 700 press came online to produce our digital colour imprints while a Xerox 4112 upgraded our digital black and white printing. On the other hand, equipment such as the vintage Platen Heidleberg 10 x 15 is still being used for tasks such as perforating, numbering, scoring and die cutting.
